Ingredients

  • 1 French baguette sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 8 oz sirloin or ribeye steak seasoned with salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for brushing and searing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley or basil chopped
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Skillet
  • Baking sheet

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with olive oil. Bake for about 5 minutes until golden brown.

  3. In a bowl, mix minced garlic with chopped herbs.
  4. Top each toasted baguette slice with steak slices and sprinkle with the garlic-herb mixture.
  5. Drizzle balsamic glaze over each crostini before serving.
